01 Overview

What it is

A managed election service: an institution applies, VoteNG provisions the election, verified voters cast a one-time ballot, and results are published transparently.

02 What we built
  • Organisation application and quotation flow
  • Admin dashboard for provisioning, voter-roll upload (CSV or Excel), candidates, pause/resume and a live tally
  • Voter verification by email and registration number with a six-digit one-time code
  • Public results with CSV export and a private read-only monitoring dashboard for organisers
03 Engineering

How it is built

  • One-time voting enforced three ways: deterministic ballot IDs, append-only vote rules, and the voter flag set in the same transaction
  • Verification and vote casting run server-side in Cloud Functions, so the voter roll and tallies are never writable from the browser
  • Append-only audit log of administrative actions
